Andreas Maierhofer is a senior telecom chief executive with experience in wireless and fixed technology and broad knowledge of the telecommunications industry, in areas such as launching, operating and integrating telecoms in different countries.

Andreas was a CEO of Makedonski Telekom in Macedonia from February 2014 until the end  of April 2017. During that time he was responsible for the merger of Makedonski Telekom and T‑Mobile Macedonia and the implementation of the transformation program, completed by unified mobile and fixed services under one T brand. From 2007 until 2013, he worked for Mobiltel in Bulgaria, starting as a Chief Marketing Officer and later (from 2009) he took the position of Chief Executive Officer. Under his leadership, Mobiltel acquired and integrated alternative fix line operators and positioned itself as a complete converged telecom operator on the Bulgarian market. Along with the introduction of the new brand, acquiring a new identity was a logical step for the company. From 2011 to 2012, he was a President of the Supervisory Board at M-Networks. From 2004 to 2007 he worked at Si.mobil Slovenia, in the position of Chief Operating Officer from 2004 to 2006 and in the position of Chief Executive Officer from 2006 to 2007. Once he left Si.mobil, he held a mandate of the Supervisory Board of Si.mobile for one year.

During his successful career in management of more than 20 years, he also worked as Customer Service Director, Head of Billing and Collection Department, supporting and supervising green field operations abroad, as well as a project owner and manager responsible for many projects in different areas and countries.

Besides his professional leadership, Mr. Maierhofer has been engaged into different international business associations and obtained diverse honors and awards,  such as Manager of the Year in Bulgaria 2010, best Foreign Manager in Slovenia for 2005 and 2006 and Honorary sign of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria for his outstanding contribution to the development of the Bulgarian economy.

Szabolcs Gáborjáni

Chief Financial Officer

Since May 1, 2016, Member of the Management Board of T‑Mobile Poland SA, Chief Financial Officer.

Szabolcs Gáborjáni began his career at K&H Bank in Hungary, worked at the Budapest Stock Exchange and then worked for Magyar Telekom, part of Deutsche Telekom Group, in various finance management positions including Treasury Director. In 2005 he was appointed as CFO and Member of the Board of Directors of Slovak Telekom, as well as member of the Supervisory Board of T‑Mobile Slovensko. In 2011-2014 he worked as CFO for T-Systems Iberia, and in 2015 decided to gain experience outside of telco market, working as startup advisor and angel investor.

Gáborjáni graduated from mathematics and computing science at the Eötvös Lorand University in Budapest, continued in his studies at the Business Management Faculty of the Budapest University of Economics, graduating in finance, and later obtaining the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) degree from the CFA Institute.

Frederic Perron

CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER / PRIVATE MARKET

Since April 1, 2017, Member of the Management Board of T‑Mobile Poland SA, Chief Commercial Officer – Private Market

Frederic has nearly 20 years of experience in consumer marketing and commercial management within the telecommunication and banking sectors. He has worked for leading telecommunications companies in US, Canada, UK, and Czech Republic and was responsible for several turnarounds in brand perception, customer loyalty, and revenue growth.

Since 2014 Frederic was Senior Vice President of Customer Management and Loyalty at Rogers Communications in Canada, where he was responsible for over 10 million customers with both Mobile and Cable products. Previously, he spent four years at Vodafone in the Czech Republic and United Kingdom. As Head of Post-Pay in the Czech Republic, he successfully managed the business turnaround and increased customer satisfaction, while delivering growth in customers base and revenue. In 2009-2010 he has had position of Head of Pre-Pay in the T‑Mobile in United Kingdom. Prior to his work in the telecom industry, Frederic spent five years at Capital One, where he held commercial leadership roles in the credit card industry in both Canada and the UK.

Frederic is a Canadian citizen. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University in Montreal and a Master’s degree in Management from Queen’s University in Kingston.

Artur Ostrowski

Chief Commercial Officer / Business Market

Artur is a Sales and Marketing Executive with more than 20 years of experience in leading sales and marketing and has held roles in different companies in the Telecommunications industry on domestic, as well as, international markets. In 2015 and 2016 he was a Partner at consulting firm Enxoo, where he created and managed Telecom Practice helping European operators to implement Salesforce and Marketing Automation solutions and guiding them through digitalization transformation. Prior to Enxoo, Artur since 2009 has worked at GTS Central Europe where, at different points of time, he served as Senior Vice President of Infrastructure Services, Head of Marketing and Head of International Wholesale. At that time he played an crucial role in conducting a transformation and restructuring program aimed at creating one regional telecommunication operator from 5 independently operating country entities in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. Before GTS, Artur has worked 10 years at TeliaSonera International Carrier where he was managing regional operations for West Europe, Central & Eastern Europe, as well as Asia. Artur started his career in 1995 in Polish Research and Academic Computer Network (NASK).

Artur holds a master's degree in Management from Warsaw University, and later obtained an Executive MBA from Warsaw University of Technology. Artur attended number of executive programs including those at Stanford University, IMD and London Business School.

Thomas Lips

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION OFFICER

Thomas Lips has been working in the telecommunications sector and is associated with Deutsche Telecom for 20 years, in the last seven years in the management positions. During his career he was responsible for numerous strategic projects, including transformation and development of the network infrastructure in Asian and European operators, including T‑Mobile Polska.

Currently, Thomas is a Member of Europe Technology Board (EUTB), and since 2010 he has also been the Vice President of Technology Europe, responsible for 12 countries of the Group and projects such as the building of All SRAN (single RAN) and implementation of the FTTH (fibre to the home). Apart from the experience gained in the positions held in the DT Headquarters, Thomas has a great international experience. In 2000-2002 he worked for Deutsche Telekom Asia in Singapore, where he was responsible for technology strategy and operational steering of South-East Asia companies. In 1999-2000 he worked in China on behalf of Xinda Telecom International Ventures.

Thomas Lips graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications at the Dresden Technical University.

Włodzimierz Nowak

CHIEF SECURITY, LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Since April 1, 2017, Member of the Management Board of T‑Mobile Poland SA, Chief Security, Legal and Compliance Officer

Włodzimierz Nowak has held various positions in the military sector, including at the Polish Ministry of National Defence, Ministry of Digital Affairs and NATO. He has long-standing and broad experience in cybersecurity, and has held posts such as Head of the Information, Technology and Telecommunication Department at the Polish Ministry of National Defence and Director of the Cybersecurity Department at the Polish Ministry of Digital Affairs.

In the years 2015-2017, Włodzimierz Nowak held a number of functions in the field of cybersecurity consulting and was the Director of the Cybersecurity Department at the Polish Ministry of Digital Affairs. On June 30, 2016 he ended his professional military service, which he had begun in 1986 as Commanding Officer of the Commanding Platoon at the Pomeranian WOP Brigade in Szczecin. From 1991 to 1994 he was the Head of Technical Services – Deputy Commander of the 33rd Communications Battalion in Szczecin. Later, in 2006, he served in the General Staff of the Polish Army, starting as a specialist and finally becoming the Head of the Board of Communications and Computer Science in the General Command and Communications Board – P6. In the years 1998–2003, he acted as project manager for communication between Poland and NATO, and as a representative in NATO’s National Technical Telecommunications Technical Working Group. From 2007, he was the Director of the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications at the Polish Ministry of National Defence, and from 2010 to 2012 – the acting Operations Director of NATO NCSA (NATO CIS Services Agency). Between 2012 and 2013, he was the Deputy Commander / Chief of Staff of the NATO CIS Group (SHAPE) in Belgium. After returning from service in NATO structures, he took up the position of Director of the Department of Armed Forces at the Ministry of National Defence, where he developed the Regional Support Assistance Programme (ReSAP).

Włodzimierz Nowak is a graduate of the Military University of Technology and of postgraduate studies in Organization and Management at Bialystok University of Technology. In 2006, he was awarded for his outstanding achievements in military service and his contribution to strengthening the defence system of the Republic of Poland, by being entered into the Book of Honour of the Minister of National Defence.
