Goran Markovic joins T-Mobile Polska as Chief Commercial Officer

Goran Markovic has been associated with the telecommunications sector for over 16 years and in this time he has occupied managerial functions in a variety of Telenor Group companies. Recently he held the position of Chief Commercial Officer of Telenor Bulgaria responsible for sales and marketing functions of B2C and B2B segments.

During his career Goran Markovic completed the full path from starting positions in marketing division to running the whole company’s commercial offering. Before becoming CCO of Telenor Bulgaria he was in charge of business and organization transformation in CEE region as Program Director of CEE cluster. Earlier he held various commercial positions in Telenor Hungary, such as Omni-channel Marketing Director, Business Transformation Lead and senior advisor to CMO. Prior to Hungary, Goran served as Brand Manager in Telenor Group where he moved out of his home country Montenegro, where he started his career in 2004 as marketing communication trainee. In Telenor Montenegro, he held positions of Marketing Communication Director, Marketing Director and acting CMO Consumer.

Goran Markovic holds a degree in applied computer sciences from the University of Montenegro and currently is doing his EMBA at University of Sheffield. He has completed a variety of leadership programs from INSEAD Business School, Harvard Business School, Norwegian Business School as well as London Business School.

On September 1st Goran Markovic will join the Management Board of T-Mobile Polska. As the Chief Commercial Officer he will be leading the B2C Department responsible for the company’s private market offering.
